HTML5 search form for wordpress
A week ago the excellent smashingmagazine posted about using hmt5 to improve twenty-ten theme. The article explained how to add html5 placeholder features to the comments form. This gave me the idea to also improve the worpdress search form, using html5 placeholders and the “search” attribut (only supported in opera for the moment). Here is the code to copy paste in functions.php
Migration to wordpress 3.0
When I first designed this blog, I re-used a template I created for another blog. This blog was on wordpress 2.9 . This weird thing, is that I copied – past the wordpress files from one blog to the other, but in one case the comment plugin would work, in the other case I got a huge php error, working on my local xampp. The list of recent comments would also not get displayed.
