Photoshop tip: crop tool and locked / unlocked guides

Recently I’ve encountered a strange thing in Photoshop: while working for responsive mockups, when I wanted to crop my canvas in Photohop (CC2014 in my case), the guides would have a strange behavior and would “fly away” whenever I would crop something (see video below).
I was wondering where this strange behavior would come from, asked around and finally found why: I usually lock the guides when I work. When the guides are locked in Photoshop and you try to crop something, the guides are moving around while you crop.
If you want to avoid this, you will have to unlock the guides before using the crop tool. As simple as that.
